OBJECTIVES AND EXPECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS

1. Initiate and implement continuous improvement plans on pricing design, quality, delivery and service.

2. Sourcing for commodity raw materials such as metals, plastics, oils, paint, etc... used in manufacturing processes.

DAY IN THE LIFE

1.  You will srart in this role and will be given the opportunity to work with a leader who will give you guidance as needed but will allow you to take ownership for I&E sourcing activities.
2.  You will spend you first three months to review the review and workflow and get to know the working procedures for different BUs.
3.  Ater the core product training from experts, you will maintain and realign our current Oracle system to ensure the stable output from production line and the project savings.

 TEAM DYNAMICS

1. You will work with a team of sourcing function, focus on continuous improvement and quick response to meet customer requirement.
2. Being a part of this team requires intellectual curiosity and a collegial/collaborative work style.
3. You will work with a sourcing leader who wants each mumber has opportunity to participate and become actively involved in the team

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

REQUIRED:

• Proven experience in establishing and maintaining business relationships with suppliers to enhance short term improvements.
• Project management, Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects in a smooth paced environment

PREFERRED:

• Good negotiation skill;
• Proven communication skills in oral and written form;
• High level of personal integrity.
• Team player and Self motivated, work under stress.
• Have problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated proficiency in analytical and personal computing skills, specifically using Microsoft Office Applications

Required Experience

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS

REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s degree
• More than 5 years working experience and 3 years in sourcing or purchasing of commodity raw materials.

PREFERRED:

• Knowledge/experience with :    

• Proficiency reading engineering drawings and specifications

 - Experienced with tools including: PPAP, Process capability analysis, Manufacturing Control Plans, process flow diagrams;

 - Manufacturing processes, casting, forging, metal cutting, plastic injection molding, metal fabrication– other
