JOB TITLE: Field Service Manager

LOCATION: Deer Park, TX

SUMMARY

The Power and Oil & Gas market in the Americas offers substantial growth opportunities, especially in North America, for Hydratight’s range of product and services. The field service manager is responsible for delivering operational excellence and building and maintaining customer relationships in their assigned geography.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Overall responsibility for the field service technical team.
• Recruit, develop, and retain team members
• Create and expand relationships with new and existing customers.
• Coordinate with sales team to execute customer strategies
• Take a system view of all current and upcoming projects in the sub-region, build the overall project plan, ensuring the right resources (people and equipment) are available and in position at the right times.
• Serve as a technical escalation point for complex applications issues
• Ensure team members have the required skills and training necessary to staff local jobs.
• Work with Regional Manager to develop a strategy in regards to personnel and equipment needs
• Responsible for operational financial performance, both top-line revenue and project profitability.
• Develop strong relationships external customers and vendors and internal personnel
• Manage and monitor technician’s holidays, rest days and unavailability and their impact on projects.
• Adheres to safe and specified standards, completing all required documentation
• Job preparation and mobilization / demobilization including equipment lists and preparation, procedures
• Adheres to all Hydratight and site related procedures and polices including work permits and proper use of PPE and other equipment
• Strong field machining / controlled torque & tension and weld test / isolation aptitude with a sense of onsite ingenuity to rectify problems with equipment and/or difficult situations
• Maintains company quality, safety and environmental standards and policies
• Interface with client in a professional manner representing Hydratight to the highest standard at all times
• Communicates job progression on a daily basis back to the main office
• Complies with specific task requirements including ability to identify potential hazards through the use of risk assessment

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Ability to read piping schematics
• Computer literate
• Supervisory or leadership experience
• Valid driver license required
• Positive assertive personality with leadership potential
• High integrity and good work ethic
• Flexible approach to working hours
• Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities
• Ability to layout pad and T/C locations for heat treat process

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma, equivalent or military experience
• Training or experience with Hydratight machining and Bolting Equipment.
• Hands-on experience in machining, weld test / isolation and bolting preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Ability to work in all climates and industrial conditions
• Constant standing and frequent walking
• Ability to climbs ladders and steps
