JOB TITLE: Field Service Engineer-Leak Seal

LOCATION: Chicago, IL

SUMMARY

The Power and Oil & Gas market in the Americas offers substantial growth opportunities, especially in North America, for Hydratight’s range of product and services.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide on-site Leak Seal services; Assessing Active Leaks; making first attempts (if applicable), measuring / installing and servicing clamps and enclosures.
• Up to 80% travel required
• Ability to work in all climates and industrial conditions
• Constant standing and frequent walking
• Ability to climbs ladders and steps
• Adheres to safe and specified standards, completing all required documentation
• Job preparation and mobilization / demobilization including equipment lists and preparation, procedures
• Adheres to all Hydratight and site related procedures and polices including work permits and proper use of PPE and other equipment
• Strong industrial experience and aptitude with a sense of on-site ingenuity to provide solutions in difficult situations
• Maintains company quality, safety and environmental standards and policies
• Interface with client in a professional manner representing Hydratight to the highest standard at all times
• Communicates job progression on a daily basis back to the main office
• Accurate and timely completion and submission of all job related documentation including QA-QC, customer timesheets and expense reports organizing expense receipts for fuel, rental cars hotels
• Complies with specific task requirements including ability to identify potential hazards through the use of risk assessment

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Has sufficient background to obtain site badging at client locations
• Prior safety related training helpful
• Computer literate
• Supervisory or leadership experience helpful
• Valid driver license required

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma, equivalent or military experience
• Training or experience with Leak Sealing Certifications
• Positive assertive personality with leadership potential
• High integrity and good work ethic
• Flexible approach to working hours
• Willingness to learn through training programs and follow verbal and written instruction
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and adopt quickly to change
• Committed to accomplishing goals of the company
