    SUMMARY – BASIC FUNCTION OF THE ROLE 

    Responsible for the development and execution of strategies/plans to grow sales/profitability of new and existing Lifting products. These plans will include generation of collateral, sales training for the internal and external sales force, advertisements, promotions, campaigns, demos, etc. Responsible for providing voice of customer (VoC) and competitive landscape information used to build new product business cases along with providing new product ideas for the region. Will report to Product Manager – Lifting and work closely with the Regional Marketing Teams.

    JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

    1. Collaborate with the Product Manager and Regional Marketing Leaders in creating and implementing new product launch plans for the region to achieve forecasted sales volume and profitability. These plans will include generation of collateral, sales training for internal and external sales force, advertisements, promotions, campaigns, demos, etc.
    2. Work with the Regional Marketing Leaders in creating and implementing product growth plans for existing products within the region to drive product growth. These plans will include generation of collateral, sales training for the internal and external sales force, advertisements, promotions, campaigns, demoes, etc.
    3. Track and analyze product sales and profitability for the global regions by leveraging Oracle and Salesforce.com, including recently released products.
    4. Assist the internal and external sales team in selling and promoting Lifting products globally including targeted email campaigns.
    5. Gather VoC data for the development of new product business cases. This data would include market size, sales forecast, main parameter of values, target markets and applications, product requirements, support requirements, etc.
    6. Generate and document new product ideas along assisting the development of the business cases and project charters.
    7. Work with the Marketing Communication Team by providing content for product articles, new releases and product sales collateral.
    8. Track, organize and analyze competitive landscape in Lifting including sales volume, product pricing, product technologies and features, marketing, channel and support strategies.
    9. Generate and deliver in-person digital product sales training to the sales force and channel partners.
    10. Identify and funnel M&A opportunities to the Global Product Management.

    Required Skills

    1. Experience with industrial distribution
    2. Experience developing marketing communication and product launch strategies to achieve target financial goals
    3. Ability to obtain and manage VoC information from internal and external customers
    4. Demonstrated skills in project management with cross-functional teams
    5. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills are required
    6. Demonstrated ability to comprehend technical concepts and transform it into engaging marketing content
    7. External customer relations experience
    8. Excellent organizational skills are required
    9. Domestic and international travel required
    10. Training capabilities is preferred
    11. Proficiency using electronic spreadsheet, database, word processing and graphical presentation software, preferably Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word and Power Point) are required.

    Required Experience

    EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: BS/BA degree in Business, Engineering, relative technical field or equivalent previous experience.

    EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of five years’ experience in a marketing, engineering and/or sales role; experience or high exposure to industrial products in American markets is strongly preferred; sustained record of self-motivated industrial/manufacturing sales or marketing achievements. Experience assisting in selling and promoting products in the field. Experience in gathering VoC from end users.
