CHVAC Global Advanced Manufacturing team is looking for a self-motivated engineering student to assist with projects for advanced manufacturing solutions mainly in our Charlotte facility. Candidates will support advanced manufacturing groups for project execution, factory support, and design changes. This will require working in a cross-functional environment which includes communicating with other engineers both at a factory level as well as new product development.

Experience/Qualifications:

• US Citizen or Permanent Resident

• COVID-19 vaccines will be required for all newly hired Carrier U.S. Salaried employees

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Self-driven and proactive

• Experience with CAD preferred

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities

• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels

• Team player and willing to collaborate with others on projects

• Must be hands-on and willing to learn how to use equipment and tools to build fixtures and carts

Careers:

• Mechatronic Engineering / technical degree

• Advanced Manufacturing Engineering / technical degree

• Robotics Engineering / technical degree

• Relevant coursework or previous internships preferred

• GPA must be greater than or equal to 3.0 GPA
