Responsibilities Responsibilities The Imagery Products and Exploitation Department (IPED) supports multi-sensor data analysis, exploitation and integration across the intelligence, launch support and weather communities. We use our end-to-end knowledge of sensor systems and data analytics to provide independent verification and validation of new sensor concepts, trade studies to determine optimal performance of space and airborne payloads, multi-int geospatial solutions, custom visualizations, launch vehicle debris characterization, and analytical reports for our customers. Key Functions Candidate will contribute to multiple IPED activities including: Use advanced processing techniques like machine learning, computer vision and other artificial intelligence to help solve complex problems Design, program and model Geographic Information Systems (GIS)/Geospatial applications or procedures. Create visual representations of geospatial data using complex procedures, such as analytical modeling and three-dimensional renderings or four-dimensional technologies to geospatial data. Provide tailored, timely geospatial intelligence products to support our customers to assist in meeting their missions and goals. Multi-INT image exploitation/data fusion, image registration and geospatial modeling. Apply mathematical principles in the evaluation, development, and selection of image and signal processing techniques for the purpose of target detection and false alarm mitigation for missile warning applications. Use advanced processing techniques like machine learning, computer vision and other artificial intelligence to help solve complex problems Qualifications Performance standards to be successful in this internship position include: - Strong written and oral communication skills - Must work well in a team environment - Must possess strong organizational, time management and project management skills - Demonstrated flexibility and ability to adapt to changing organizational need - Effective interpersonal skills to coordinate efforts and work with other internal and external organizations - Demonstrates behavior that is consistent with the companys values of Dedication to Mission Success, Technical Excellence, Commitment to Our People, Integrity and Objectivity. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university degree program pursuing a Bachelor or Masters degree in engineering, mathematics, physical sciences, or related discipline. - Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) - Experience with Machine Learning - Minimum GPA 3.00 - Must be able to obtain a security clearance - US Citizenship required - Strong organizational, time management, and self-work skills - Demonstrated ability to communicate well - Demonstrated agility and ability to flex as needs and conditions change - Strong sense of curiosity, self-motivated/self-starter, and awareness of situations PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS GPA 3.5 or higher Active security clearance Experience leading a prototyping or development team Experience with R&D Experience with CAD, coding, prototyping Transcript Requirement Transcripts are required for this position.
