Required Skills Required Experience
Network Implementation Engineer II will be responsible for test and turn-up of related work for IP based elements within Network Implementation. Daily responsibilities will include performing advanced problem resolution, proactive audits and the configuration of new IP elements within multiple IP routed. The incumbent will also be responsible for performing element hardware/software upgrades and configuration of routing on certain IP elements in a live production environment. The incumbent will also need to possess the ability to prioritize issues, deal with multiple competing priorities, and remain focused in a fast paced work environment. The ideal candidate will have in depth hands on knowledge of Cisco IP based elements, a solid understanding of OSI layers 1-3 and work effectively with various organizations. A team player is a critical component of this position. The Network Implementation team provides implementation support for Wireless Data Services, OAMP platforms and Telephony elements across customer bearing, revenue generating. Additional Requirements: Cisco CCNA, CCNP or other Cisco certifications preferred with a minimum of 2 years hands on experience supporting IP platforms. 5-8 years related work experience required.
