We are seeking an enthusiastic, people-oriented Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (LCMS) Intern for Agilent's Life Sciences and Applied Markets Group (LSAG). In this position, you will work with other Application Scientists, Agilent product teams, and Center of Excellence (COE) staff utilizing your technical skills to provide application support, COE operational support and, depending on your academic focus industry (Large Molecule, Small Molecule, Proteomics, Forensics, etc.), scientific experimental support. Agilent's COE's are working labs containing state of the art Chromatography (Gas/Liquid phase), Mass Spectrometry (Single/Triple Quad, TOF, QTOF), Spectrometry (ICPMS, Atomic Absorption, etc.), Automation and Informatics products. In your role as an Intern Level II, many of these products would be available to you in the furtherance of your academic pursuits. Key responsibilities: - Center of Excellence operational support. - Development and deployment of new operational standards for liquid chromatography maintenance. Additional responsibilities: - Working with current Applications Scientist staff to conduct in-house demonstrations to showcase our state of the art mass spectrometry products (QQQ, QTOF and TOF) and contribute in the development of new applications for the Mass Spectrometry product line including writing application briefs to highlight product capabilities. This position located is in Santa Clara, CA.
