SUMMARY Are you ready to get on-board? We are currently looking for a
full-time Client Service Technician for our Saskatoon location. The
Client Service Technician (CST) delivers and transports medical gas
products and equipment to clients and institutions. The CST maintains
safe operation of company vehicles and provides outstanding customer
service. They are also involved in training customers on the proper use
and maintenance of their equipment while promoting VitalAire's safety
and quality practices - KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Contributes to a safe
working environment by participating in safety activities, working in a
safe manner, following safety rules, encouraging others to work in a
safe manner, and reporting unsafe occurrences and/or practices.
Maintains quality service by following company standards, policies and
procedures, current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard
Operations Procedures (SOPs) and quality assurance. Provides training to
new clients and responds to requests from current clients. Provides
client education on equipment function and maintenance. Performs
technical checks and reviews safety instructions with client. Maintains
up-to-date documentation by completing appropriate records for technical
visits including equipment exchanges, deliveries and pick up of
equipment. Contributes to team effort by communicating with healthcare
professionals and other staff members to achieve optimal client service.
- Performs warehouse duties by stocking shelves with supplies, shipping
and receiving of products, and equipment cleaning. Completes daily
paperwork in a clear, accurate, and timely fashion. Maintains client
confidence and protects VitalAire operations by keeping information
confidential. Acts as a Quality Control Alternate (when and where
applicable), reports and manages Homecare customer complaints and
reports and quarantines non-conforming products. Maintains quality
records in relation to operations including but not limited to patients
files. - Protects clients and employees by adhering to infection control
policies and protocols. Assists in peer development, orientation of new
employees and develops and conducts in-service training and equipment
audits. Seeks to continuously improve the operation of the branch by
evaluating processes and workflow, and participating in other quality
improvement activities. - Inspects vehicle before and after use;
documents inspection and logs hours of service. Maintains a clean
vehicle and ensures it is stocked with necessary PPE, safety equipment,
tools, and other supplies. Maintains a safe vehicle by arranging for
routine maintenance and repairs and identifies any other operational
problems in a timely manner. Ensures correct loading of vehicle by
identifying product requirements for the day, and unloading product or
material in compliance with safety and legislative requirements. Meets
client needs by delivering products according to daily schedule and as
required. Complies with organizational vehicle policies and procedures,
and highway rules and regulations. Ensures safe supply of gases to
clients by trans-filling and transporting medical gases according to
procedures and regulations. - Complies with applicable certification
requirements and makes recommendations to management on needed actions.
Provides after hour service to clients by participating in branch
on-call rotation. Perform fill plant duties if applicable. Recognizes
that client safety is of paramount importance in the VitalAire
organization. Continually evaluates the effectiveness of product and
treatment given to clients to ensure that they are safely receiving
treatment. Other duties as required. - REQUIREMENTS - High School
Diploma - Equivalent combination of education and experience - In-depth
knowledge of use and maintenance of respiratory home care equipment -
2-3 years of driving/delivery experience - 2- 3 years Customer service
experience - Clean and valid drivers license - NOTE: All employment is
