    The RRD Marketing Solutions "MS" Account Supervisor is responsible for maintaining and growing existing client relationships across a small group of accounts. The position will be charged with the effective supervision and day-to-day management of client business, deepening and strengthening MS’s relationships with clients, and fostering the professional development of MS account managers, assistant account managers, and account coordinators, whenever possible.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES 

     

    • Acting as the client lead or supervising manager, direct and coordinate resources to meet client needs.
    • Maintain and grow client relationships, serving as the “point” or “supervisor” person for assign accounts.
    • Strive to increase efficiencies of account management processes (e.g. traffic, production, billing, campaign management, etc…)
    • Mentor attitude: seek opportunities to teach and develop less experienced account managers.
    • Utility player mindset: maintain flexibility to be used in a variety of other roles to help the team with a “whatever it takes” to get it done attitude.
    • Support RRD Marketing Solutions new business efforts in secondary role as needed.
    • Help MS meet or exceed client expectations through effective project management and coordination of resources.
    • Perform in the supervisory or lead client liaison role based on the individual client situation/need. In either case, increase client confidence in MS through effective management of their account and / or identifying strategic opportunities to improve their business.
    • Provide project management for direct marketing, analytic and technology driven assignments.
    • Preserve MS profit margin through effective client management and efficient / prudent use of MS resources.
    • Provide leadership, mentoring and guidance for MS account managers in an effort to help them grow professionally and be more successful.
    • Grow business within current clients by identifying new sales opportunities.

    Required Skills

    • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage and/or supervise all the activity needed by internal Precision Dialogue resources to deliver effective client solutions on time and on budget.
    • Solid understanding of database marketing techniques including targeting, segmentation, modeling, analytics, list selection, measurement and reporting.
    • Demonstrated ability to engender client loyalty.
    • Demonstrated ability to create and implement strategic marketing plans
    • Demonstrated strong interpersonal, presentation, and written communication skills.
    • Ability to increase business from existing clients through the identification of new sales opportunities.

    Required Experience

    • Minimum 4 year Bachelor's degree in Marketing.
    • Experience (minimum 6-10 years) as an account manager or supervisor for a regional marketing, advertising, direct firm, or with CRM / direct marketing responsibilities on the client side is required.
