    RR Donnelley is currently hiring outside sales representatives in Laurel, MD.  Successful candidate may work remotely to sell into local market area (DC, MD and VA). Sales representatives will be able to offer customers unique, valuable programs through our powerful web-to-print solutions. If you have experience selling commercial print, mail, digital cross media campaigns, data analytics, or related services and want to grow your income by offering a more strategic, cross-media approach to customers this is the place for you! This is a hunter, business development role. Commercial print sales reps will: Sell print and marketing solutions to corporations big and small, with focus on developing relationships with top-level executives. Candidates must possess high energy, excellent communication, strong business acumen, organizational skills and a proven corporate sales record with decision makers. 

    Required Skills Skills

    • General knowledge of basic software programs such as MS Office and CRM database systems (e.g., Sales Force).
    • Highly organized, self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently with little or no instruction, as well as an ability to work in a team setting.
    • 3+ years’ experience in B2B, outside sales with emphasis on commercial print / marketing solutions, preferred.
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
    • Valid driver's license, background check and drug-screen required.

    LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write varying types of correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.

    REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

    COMPUTER SKILLS To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong knowledge of Database, Internet, Word Processing and Spreadsheet software. Ability to learn proprietary software. Ability to create a variety of reports as requested.
