  • Responsibilities

    WALLACE AVE - The Digital Print Operator prepares and operates the Xerox and OCE equipment by reviewing job specifications, making equipment adjustments, and performing ongoing quality checks to produce quality forms that meet internal standards and customer needs.

    Maintain daily print job production logs.  Adjust the image position.  Monitor the quality of job output for correctness and image quality.  Order supplies such as ink, paper, and other items as needed. 

     

     C SHIFT 6 PM - 6 AM ~ SUNDAY, MONDAY AND TUESDAY  (EVERY OTHER WEEKEND)

    Required Skills

    Knowledge of digital print and/or ink jet equipment set up, adjustment, and operating procedures preferred.   Typically, corrective adjustments performed require the operator to consider the symptom(s), possible causes and remedies

    Job Responsibilities are:

    • Preparing job specifications and making adjustments to the equipment to provide a sample of the finished product.
    • Visually inspecting the output to samples throughout run time to ensure that they meet job specifications and quality standards.
    • Adhering to all SOP standards.
    • Other duties as assigned.

     

    Other Required Skills:

    • Must have good eye-hand coordination
    • Ability to communicate in English -read, write, understand
    • Lifting up to 50 lbs, 4-6 hours
    • Walking/standing, 6-7 hours
    • Bending/stooping, 2-3 hours

     

     

    Required Experience

    • High school/GED or equivalent experience in a manufacturing/printing environment
    • Basic math and communication skills
    • Must work well in a team-oriented environment.

     

     

  • Qualifications

    KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS

    Knowledge of nursing science, principles, techniques, and procedures for the care of patients. Knowledge of healthcare terminology, anatomy, physiology and concepts of disease. Knowledge and ability to utilize evidence based practice to develop the plan of care and interventions. Knowledge of the hospital environment and how the services and functions interact. Knowledge of Alaskan culture. Knowledge of nursing theorists and ability to provide theory based care for patients. Knowledge of shared governance environment with shared-decision making.

    Skill in critical thinking to provide effective and compassionate nursing care, assessing patient situations and taking effective courses of action. Skill in providing cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Skill in providing effective nursing services, assessing patient situations and taking effective courses of action. Skill in assessing and prioritizing multiple requests by patients, families, and team members.  Skill in evaluating health problems, and making recommendations based on observations. Skill in operating a personal computer utilizing a variety of software applications.
