    We're currently looking for experienced MAINTENANCE MECHANICS for this growing location.

    Must possess excellent communication skills, and maintain the ability to thrive as a team member and work independently.

    Assume responsibility for preventive maintenance and routine maintenance on all equipment in the plant.

     

    Required Skills

    Must possess excellent communication skills, and maintain the ability to thrive as a team member and work independently.

    Skilled in installing, troubleshooting, repairing, overhauling, aligning, testing, and maintaining simple and complex equipment and machinery.

    Experience working with bearings, electric motors, chain drives, gearboxes, shafts, couplings, clutches.

    Ability to operate a Powered Industrial Vehicle (forklift), hoist, crane, scissors, and boom lift.

    Ability to repair or fabricate parts using machine tools such as a lathe, milling machines, drill press, surface grinders, gear shaper, welders, or other machine shop equipment.

    Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings, sketches, and wiring schematics.

    Capable of repairing and maintaining plant equipment, which includes: strapping equipment, skid wrappers, digital and conventional printing equipment, web-fed presses, die cutters and embossing equipment, conveyor systems, air compressors, etc.

    Maintain organization's production equipment. Perform electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting and repairs in response to equipment errors or failures.  Repairs and maintains, in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications.

    Required Experience

    Experience installing, troubleshooting, repairing complex equipment or machinery, required.  Experience as Maintenance Mechanic in a printing environment, preferred.
