Summer Intern - E-Commerce Summer Intern - E-Commerce Project Description: Provide support for incoming product information requests for products across Allegions various brands in an effort to prepare products for sale in retail stores and ecommerce websites. Intern Responsibilities on the Project: * Assist team with workflow and other activities related to the new MDM system and existing PIM (Salsify). * Search for and compile product information from product data sheets, price books, spreadsheets, and other sources, per customer guidelines and requirements. * Normalize and validate product content to ensure consistency and accuracy. * Assist with populating product information into retailers respective product templates, while also engaging with internal Allegion product stewards for product information as needed. * Load product information into PIM (Salsify) and build out product records according to product data guidelines and standards. * Work with Content Database Manager, product managers, engineers, and marketing team as necessary. * Work with sales and marketing managers to populate product data upon request for their respective accounts. Deliverables/Business Outcomes: * Product content, marketing information and digital assets available and formatted for our commercial and residential customers to support sales activities. * Growth and development of individual product records and overall database in PIM (Salsify). * Timely and successful fulfillment of sales and marketing manager product information requests. Qualifications * Student currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business, Informatics, or Data Science with a graduation date between December 2019-December 2021. * Legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship. * Good ethics & judgment. * Ability to work independently and as a team player. * Preferred overall cumulative GPA of 3.0. * Geographically flexible and willing to relocate during the internship program.
