Coordination of incoming and outgoing shipments as well as maintaining all items in their correct locations within the Warehouse. Employee must function at high levels of quality and efficiency while maintaining the highest standard of safety.

Required Skills

Job functions include, but are not limited to the following.

• Operations of a fork lift truck and electric hand truck.
• Locate and Scan Shipments – understand the paperwork process, make sure the transferred items are shipped first
• Load and unload trucks as necessary including pre-load safety inspections on trailers.
• Process and deliver all incoming goods (and mail) , i.e., stock, ink, corrugated, pallets, cores, supplies
• Move, weigh and stage scrap bales for pick up by recycler
• Keep the correct stock staged at all presses at all times, keep the incoming stock organized, and use the FIFO process
• Keep dock and inventory area clean and swept at all times.
• Responsible for safety and must follow all PPE requirements.
• Required to perform all duties with a minimum of instruction from the Supervisor and/or Plant Manager.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience

• Must be able to read and interpret information.
• Must be an organized, self starter and can work independently.
• Ability to process specific shipping documents.
• Manufacturing experience strongly preferred.

SCHEDULE DEMANDS:

• General schedules are 8 and/or 12-hour shifts on alternate days with rotating weekends off, however, employees must be willing to work alternate schedules or overtime that may include early mornings, nights, and/or weekends and be punctual while doing so.
• Expected to cover vacancy for absent peers and work overtime.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Sitting or standing for extended periods.
• Awkward and/or repetitive movements.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. repeatedly during the shift
• Reading computer screen or other electronic devices.
• Use of various hand and electrical tools and equipment.
• Work in areas of fluctuating temperature.
