This small and nimble team will be responsible for crafting concepts and prototypes to bring Amways strategic visions to life by leveraging the fundamentals of Human Centered design. We want individuals that can help shape and mold the future of our digital products locally as well as globally. This team will report to the Manager of Social Experience and Digital Design. This innovative team is notorious for challenging the ordinary and designing for the future and we need the right team of rock-star designers. -How you would contribute to the role: As a Digital Visual Designer, you will be asked to work with a team to solve business needs and bring them to life through digital visual design. This could be as simple as the format for displaying data to as complicated as an immersive mockup of a brand-new website or app concept. Our goal is to remove as many distractions as possible to allow you to focus on your innovative designs. You'll be encouraged to take an "outside-in" approach, capturing inspiration and ideas from outside the organization and working to bring them into our design philosophy. -Daily, youll be: -Designing according to the strategy and vision for various projects, as well as execute deliverables including visual design concepts, sketches, and prototyping. -Contributing concepts and executing creative design solutions, paying attention to the look, feel, and tonality of the design. -Conceptualizing communication concepts for internal audiences. -Ensure all deliverables are of the highest quality, including the management of visual QA and hand-offs to development & delivery teams. -Actively gaining knowledge of industry standards and digital design trends. To do this, well provide you with a full complement of design technology, and collaboration software. Youll also work with your team members in other functions to design the most effective solution. Youll have full backing from management to pursue your designs and prioritize your workload. We're changing the game to building something special and we are looking for designers who can help get us there. If you're looking to help start and be part of a global design team - lets talk. -What skills and background will be important to be successful: How are your design skills? We want you to have at least a one year of experience in Visual Design (including internships) and proficiency with using design programs such as Sketch, InDesign, Photoshop, Keynote, PowerPoint, InVision or Principle. A Bachelors Degree in Design or Art is required. -Ideally, youll also have the following: -Developing expertise in one of the following areas: product strategy, illustration, digital prototyping, product knowledge, design thinking, user research, motion graphics design, 3D design, or space design. -Organization ability, able to act independently, and able to switch rapidly between different projects in a dynamic environment -Understanding of Human Centered design and Agile principles -Ability to collaborate cross-functionally -Excellent oral and written communication skills -Ability to prioritize projects We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
