    POSITION SUMMARY:

    This role is a Pricing Analyst, Price Modeling and Analytics reporting to the Manager/Director, Pricing and Profitability. The Pricing Analyst will be responsible to assist in developing financial tools and models for customer profitability assessments, and participating in additional projects.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned beyond the core functions listed below.

    • 25% Help develop and use financial tools and models that will result in more accurate customer profitability assessment to assist in decision-making of business opportunities.
    • 25% Support manager and Sr. Analysts in development and implementation of pricing and profitability projects.
    • 25% Support Manager and Sr. Analysts in analyzing business problems related to pricing and profitability.
    • 25% Provide analytical support for Product and Sales Teams and additional internal customers requiring assistance.

  • Qualifications
    QUALIFICATIONS:  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 
    • BA/BS in Finance, Applied Mathematics, Engineering or Economics
    • 1-5 years’ experience in Pricing, Finance or Analytics
     
    REQUIRED SKILLS:   
    • Excellent Financial Analysis and Excel skills required
    • Relational database and data warehouse experience preferred
    • Data visualization experience preferred
    • Demonstrate skills in the areas of critical thinking and problem solving
    • Good understanding of economic principals of product positioning and pricing
    • Demonstrates entrepreneurial attitude and intellectual curiosity
    • Strong ability to compile, interpret and present complex financial analysis and projections
    • Excellent communication skills, including listening, oral and written presentations and ideas
    • Ability to support and manage multiple initiatives and projects and flexible to accommodate changing business needs and support change.
     
    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
