Palletizer Operator/Carton Assembler Anchor Glass Container Corporation 11 reviews - Jacksonville, FL 32254 POSITION TITLE: Palletizer Operator/Carton Assembler Glass Container Manufacturing Facility POSITION SUMMARY: Team player to operate automatic and semi-automatic equipment used in the packaging of glass bottles in a fast paced, production driven facility. MAIN POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: * Unjams equipment as required. * Inspects cartons and containers for defects. * May manually place tier sheets or frames and tie cardboard. * Load carton materials, dividers, carriers into machines. * May manually insert materials into formed boxes. * Check materials for color consistency and dimensions and glue patterns. * Works with corrugated cardboard materials and fiber materials. * Lifts bundles of boxes or materials. * Records production information. MINIMUM EMPLOYEE QUALIFICATIONS: * High School Diploma or equivalent. * Ability to work rotating shifts, nights and weekends. * Accustom to long periods of standing. * Able to withstand extreme work environments in the summer and winter.
