Provides analytic marketing research for markets, products, and customers in support of the strategic and business planning process. Researches, verifies, and organizes market trend, competitive intelligence, and sales data.
- Provides market research data collection and analysis in support of brand and business performance.
- Manage the day to day execution of the annual strategic planning process in close collaboration with the Marketing & Technology Leader.
- Compiles reports presenting information to leadership and management teams.
- Monitors critical market developments; synthesizes and communicates market trends and competitive intelligence.
- Prepares and updates market, customer, product, and competitor summaries.
- Evaluate ongoing analytics and insights needs from stakeholders and implement reporting in automated business intelligence environment
- Participate in M&A processes
- Become a champion within marketing organization in helping implement a data-driven culture focused on continually improving the understanding of the customer.
- Gathers information for competitive intelligence reports.
- Acquires and manages external research data through various sources.
- Maintains confidentiality of all matters.

Required Skills
- Up to two years of relevant experience.
- Experience in the oil & gas industry.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to generate data drive strategies
- Experience researching and generating market trends.
- Advanced Excel skills; including Microsoft Office suite.
EDUCATION, LICENSING, AND CERTIFICATIONS:
Required
- Four year college or university degree in Marketing, Economics, Business or related field.
- MBA – Highly Preferred
