    Robotics Project Manager – Contract Position

    Arsenal Products is a rapidly growing robotic systems integrator in Austin, TX that helps manufacturers reduce production costs with industrial and collaborative robots. Arsenal provides complete turnkey automation systems and robotic adhesive dispensing systems.

    Arsenal is looking to fill a contract position for a ROBOTICS PROJECT MANAGER that is a highly motivated, results oriented, and customer focused individual with a high commitment level.

    To be considered, a candidate must have proven experience driving all aspects of technical robotics projects. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a high level of organization and attention to detail as well as past success solving technical challenges and deploying manufacturing cells to a production environment.

    This contract position will require candidate to work in an office/lab environment (75%) as well as on-site at customer facilities (25%).

    POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Drive all aspects of technically challenging projects from kickoff to customer buyoff including concept development, detail design, manufacturing, assembly, programming, testing, and installation

    Demonstrated ability to identify, communicate, and mitigate technical, schedule, and budget risks

    Lead design reviews, customer meetings (in-person/digital), internal reviews, and one-on-one interaction with team members

    Manage project budget and coordinate project invoicing

    Identify and manage customer requested change orders

    Develop and manage organizational processes for

    Ensure compliance to regulatory standards

    Assist with development of customer proposals

    REQUIRED SKILLS (demonstrated through work history, project examples, and references):

    Bachelor’s degree in an mechanical, electrical, or software/CS engineering or other related technical field

    5 years of experience successfully managing technically challenging engineering projects in an industrial automation environment

    Experience managing mechanical design, manufacturing, electrical design, programming, and installation

    Ability to effectively communicate with team members transfer information related to technical issues, budget, schedule, etc.

    Ability and willingness to travel to customer sites (mostly within the Central, TX area)

    ADDITIONAL SKILLS THAT COULD BE HELPFUL:

    Proficient with AutoCAD and experience working with electrical drawings and creating new drawings from scratch

    Proficient with Solidworks for 3D modeling and development of 2D drawings

    ITAR REQUIREMENTS:

    To conform to U.S. Government technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a lawful permanent resident as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1101(a)(20).
