Hebron area automotive manufacturer Maintenance and Tooling positions open on all shifts.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Require standing for long periods of time
- The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
- Locating potential mechanical problems by observing devices while in operation
- Mechanical ability to remove and replace defective devices
- Basic understanding of hoists and cranes
- Basic knowledge of routine maintenance tasks
- Basic knowledge of performing preventative maintenance tasks
- General knowledge of process and procedure compliance
- Must be willing to become Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) qualified. Lear Corp will train and certify selected applicants.
- Must be willing to become 24-hour Hazardous Chemical Response Training qualified. Lear Corp will train and certify selected applicants.
- Must have a good attendance record
- Must possess capability to work effectively with little supervision
- The following traits are preferred but not necessary:
- basic understanding of electrical components
- basic understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic component
- basic understanding of auto body
- basic understanding of welding
- basic understanding of HVAC
- general knowledge of Microsoft word and excel and the ability to use computers and IPAD
- HS Diploma/GED is required
- Employer conducts background check and pre-employment drug testing
- Starting pay $19.16/hr, at 1 year $21.74/hr, weekly pay
