    Job Description

    This important position interfaces with Rockwell Automation's customers in which you are a consultant located onsite at a customer location. You will play an important role in our strategy to support the Maintenance and Engineering group in your customer's plant automation. You will partner with the customer, field sales, support management, product groups and local authorized distributors. You will be the subject matter expert and on-site resource for all customer repair needs, consulting services, report management, installed base evaluations, Parts Management Agreements, renewal parts, Third-party Repair, using all to increase productivity and cost reduction. This position reports to the Program Manager and is onsite in Texarkana, Arkansas.

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Manage standard operating procedures associated with the repair process at your client location.

    • Implement process improvements regarding the MRO/repair process with focus on plant reliability.

    • Coordinate and process repair transactions

    • Provide live tracking for all assets repaired or managed.

    • Perform daily reporting and data analysis by gathering product data from customer ERP systems and RA tracking software.

    • Create program metric reports using RA software and other tools that meet customer requirements.

    • Make recommendations based on inventory levels, failure trends, repair history trends, pricing considerations and obsolescence management.

    • Responsible for communication between the customer account and management, RA sales and distributors and RA Product Management to ensure that required information is adequately provided.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelors' degree required

    • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future for this job opening.

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 2+ years of experience in commercial or customer relations.

    • Basic knowledge of storeroom operations, logistics, purchasing, maintenance, or order management.

    • Working knowledge of Microsoft excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets)

    • Experience in collecting and analyzing data to identify issues and recognize trends.

    • Familiarity in working within an ERP system software environment, especially SAP.

    FACTORS OF COMPLEXITY

    • Manage the repair process by collecting and entering data into DDS daily, obtaining, and presenting quotes including coordination of shipping and receiving activities at the customer site.

    • Partner with Customer's Management and Technicians to identify Cost Savings opportunities for implementation.

    • Manage projects and priorities.

    • Implement process improvements to the MRO/repair process with focus on plant reliability and demand chain reductions.

    ACCEPT ROLE REQUIREMENTS

    • Display customer-centric attitude to guide customer behavior

    • Manage work plans and timelines independently while operating in remote locations.

    • Lift up to 35lbs

    • Stand for up to 45 minutes.
