    Job Description Associated Materials is looking for hard-working, eager to learn students to assist in various roles within the Finance organization. The internship program allows students the opportunity to work on meaningful, business-essential projects that will give them the hands-on experience they need to build a solid foundation for their future. This internship will include data analysis, management reporting and various other ad hoc financial projects in such areas as Treasury, Credit, Financial Planning and Analysis, Operational Finance, Internal Audit, Pricing, and Corporate Accounting. This program is designed to provide students with a wide range of valuable experiences with the finance organization of a billion dollar organization. Candidates must be willing to work during the school year.

    Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: (Educational & job experience requirements)

    • College junior, or senior status in a finance or accounting-related fields
    • Ability to be a team player
    • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word and Excel
    • Ability to work independently
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Good quantitative skills
    • Knowledge of college level math, basic principles and practices of accounting and financial analysis

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 3.00 GPA
    • 1-2 years related classroom experience
    • Prior internship experience, a plus

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Must be able to sit and use a computer for long periods of time
