    We are recruiting a People Leader to drive people and process transformation at our leading manufacturing plant.  Initiative, ownership, and disciplined workforce development will be key differentiators in both the selection process and the successful execution of the roles and responsibilities of this key position. This role requires the ability to think strategically, acting at the detail level to support the employees and the business. 

    In general, this position is a key member of the Manufacturing Operational Human Resources Team and is responsible for the effective and successful people and process management, discipline and communications for non-exempt (direct and contingent) and exempt employees. This includes but is not limited to employee relations, seasonal temporary staffing, employee engagement, vendor management, performance management, benefits administration, reporting, and compliance.

    THINGS YOU WOULD GET TO DO...

    • Working with operations leadership team, develop a staffing, retention and training model to sustain successful operations
    • Responsible for effectively identifying, investigating and resolving employee relations issues, resolving complex labor and human capital challenges
    • Develop and implement process and tools that foster higher productivity and improved retention of workforce
    • Manage leadership team’s staffing and development
    • Support corporate employees based in the building with any employee relations needs

    1. Partnering with Plant Manager and entire plant leadership team  to ensure a complete understanding of human capital needs and objectives, leading through effective communication and discipline
    2. Effectively recruit, train and develop highly productive candidates motivated to achieve business objectives.
    3. Counseling and provide assistance to employees and all levels of management in employee or management issues relating to promotion, termination or disciplinary action
    4. Reviews evaluation of performance and talent management programs, aligning associate objectives to business strategy
    5. Sound working knowledge of applicable state and federal labor and employment laws

    • 5+ years of progressively responsible experience leading people to accomplish a mission with purpose, teamwork and pride
    • Demonstrate integrity, flexibility, discipline, sound judgment and strong critical thinking skills.
    • Experience in a fast-paced, labor sensitive environment with a working knowledge of manufacturing tools and techniques.
    • Familiarity with ADP/HRIS and strong Microsoft Office skills.
    • Experience running payroll and familiarity with E-Time time keeping system.
