Job Description

** POSITION SUMMARY:**

Primary focus of this position is installing window seals called (beads) onto uncompleted "specials" windows. Also will install the glass into the frame.

Hours: 6:00am - 2:30pm Monday -Friday. During peak season, Plant may run 10 hours shifts from 6:00am to 4:30pm.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND REPSONSIBILITIES: ****

• Perform manual material handling of raw product (windows/doors/accessories) throughout assembly line until it becomes finished goods.
• Follow standard work to facilitate safe assembly of parts and operation of machines, punches and drilling of various window parts.
• Perform appropriate standard work using measuring tools, and audit sheets.
• Process customer orders using barcode scanners and computerized system.
• Adhere and perform to standards all machine safety rules and housekeeping policy.
• Communicate immediately with Lead/Manager any safety or quality concerns and offer ideas for continuous improvement of the operation.
• Maintain a safe workplace free of harassment and violence and partner with teammates to ensure an environment of inclusion and respect.
• Other activities as assigned by Lead or Manager.

Qualifications

• At least one year of assembly manufacturing experence
• Attention to detail.
• High School or GED.
