    POSITION DESCRIPTION

     

    We have an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Pine Brook, NJ.  As a Human Resources Generalist, you will be responsible for providing administrative and functional support in various areas of Human Resources including but not limited to: employee relations, benefits administration, training and development, EEO/AAP administration, and special projects.  This position requires frequent contact with personnel inside and outside the company requiring reasonable tact, discretion, self-expression, and a working knowledge of policies, and procedures. 

     

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

     

    • Implements human resources services, employment processing, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management and employee relations.
    • Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all organization personnel.
    • Provide support with employee relations issues and gather information for investigations.
    • Supports and participates in the delivery of annual activities such as performance appraisals, promotions, and salary review process
    • Assists with employee engagement activities
    • Assists with benefits administration, including claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment and communicating benefits information to employees.
    • Takes an active role in understanding the business and employee issues company wide.
    • Assist with administration of the company’s worker’s compensation and wellness programs.
    • Delivers a high level of service to ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
    • Able to constructively handle and respond to conflict. Knows how to identify the “right” problem to work on.
    • Must be able to work in an collaborative team environment. Must be able to effectively apply lessons learned to new situations.
    • Demonstrates ability to maintain confidentiality concerning employee information and company records.

    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

     

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

     

    • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office package.
    • BA/BS required, Business Administration or Human Resource Management preferred.
    • 2 plus years HR generalist experience highly desired.
    • Must have general knowledge of various employment laws and practices.
    • PHR/ SHRM-CP preferred.
    • Must be legally authorized to work in the US, visa sponsorship not available.
