The overriding business objective for the Electrical Engineer Intern 4 will be to learn the design process used at Astronics AES, and to support that process as needed. The key performance objectives for this position are described below: Design Innovative Power Systems. The successful Electrical Engineer Intern 4 will leverage their education to learn how to design new technology electrical power systems which offer substantial benefits in weight, cost, and/or reliability over traditional approaches. The Intern may perform detailed design, analysis, testing, and draft the documentation required to successfully develop products. We are looking students with a desire to learn power system product development. Those who display the aptitude in engineering design will be given tasks to challenge them further. It is expected within the intern period the Electrical Engineer Intern 4 will be a contributing member of a successful design or qualification of an aircraft power product.
