Overview: The supply chain function requires a more robust means by which to identify, order, track and report the status of material requirements (i.e.: BOM). These activities need to be in alignment with the program integrated master schedules and coordinated both within and across functions. This summer intern will develop a web-based, standardized solution to manage (tracking, issues/risk management, status reporting) materials management/supply chain activities in support of satellite programs. This solution will leverage a cloud-based solution called Smartsheet which will be configured to replace the ad-hoc spreadsheet and email method of program materials/supply chain management in use today. Metrics/Follow-up: This solution will result in: Increased productivity Improved coordination between programs and supply chain
