COUNTER SALES TRAINEE

Capital Electric, a distributor of electrical construction materials, is currently seeking an individual eager to start a career with a Global Company that is a leader in our Industry.  You will get hands-on experience and online product training through our Capital Electric PATH Program. This is a six-month program designed to educate, train and develop skills as a Counter Sales Associate and to encourage professional development.

A Counter Sales Trainee associate for Capital Electric is responsible for:

• Drive electrical distribution sales for our counter business
• Perform all aspects of selling to maintain and develop new or existing customers
• Complete the Counter Sales PATH Program
• Provide assistance to certain warehouse functions
• Develop customer relationships
• Other duties as required

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Some college course work preferred 
• Possess a desire for a career in Sales, Logistics, or Operations
• Individual must be highly motivated, able to multi-task and customer service oriented
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
• Team oriented
• Computer and MS Office literate
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis; up to 70 lbs. occasionally
• Reliable, responsible, and a great work ethic
