Under minimal supervision, assists with the coordination of product design/development planning and design transfer activities. Coordinates design and development verification/validation activities and assists in the generation and review of associated protocols. Evaluates impact of process improvement efforts and manufacturing deviations on process validations and product design. Acts as a team leader in directing others to achieve above goals. Prepares written technical reports and proposals for management review. Responsible for knowing silicone manufacturing processes and related formulations. Assists in the supervision of Technical Writers Assists with the coordination of product design and development planning Coordinates design transfer activities (feasibility reviews, design reviews, post production product reviews) Conducts annual Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) product reviews Coordinates Design and Development verification and validation activities Evaluates impact of process improvement efforts and manufacturing deviations on process validations and product design Generates and/or reviews Validation Master Plans and associated validation protocols Generates and/or reviews Installation, Operation, and Process Qualification documentation for manufacturing and testing instrumentation Interfaces with various NuSil departments Works closely with Research and Development, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance Testing and Engineering departments to implement and review process design Must be regular and punctual in attendance Responsible for maintaining quality within the scope of the job description.
