    In this role, you will be reporting into the Regional HR Manager and will be responsible in providing HR business partner support to the plant leadership team, managers and employees at the site.

    You will work with business leaders in promoting positive employee relations by delivering training, ensuring compliance, interpreting policies and procedures. You will provide proactive coaching and counseling to team, conduct investigations, and coach for performance improvement. Additionally, you will act as a change leader for developing and implementing new initiatives that support the talent needs of the business.

    Your essential duties and responsibilities:

    • Counsel and advise employees, managers, and business leaders regarding people, policies, workforce, organization and employee issues.

    • Proactively engage with and builds relationships with employees at all levels.

    • Mediate employee concerns and/or complaints

    • Be an active member of the site leadership team.

    • Utilize data driven metrics to make recommendations toward meeting the sites annual and strategic business objectives

    • Coach and supports the Plant Administrative Assistant regarding functional tasks.

    • Partner with hiring managers and the Talent Acquisition Team to ensure successful selection and onboarding of talent into all roles.

    • Coach managers on writing and conducting effective performance reviews and facilitates performance review and merit calibration.

    • Facilitate Talent Review and Succession Planning Process with site leadership teams.

    • Facilitate training on employee development, coaching and other management and leadership topics.

    • Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements.

    • Conduct investigations and recommends corrective actions as needed

    • Work closely with site nurses and corporate benefits team in regards to leaves of absence.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Required skills:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field.

    • 5 + years of human resources generalist and/or labor relations experience required.

    • Experience working in a matrix organization or with remote customers/clients required.

    Preferred skills:

    • HR experience in Manufacturing strongly preferred.

    • Master’s degree in a related field preferred.

    • HR certification (PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) preferred.

    Additional skills and abilities:

    • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and clients simultaneously as well as work in a high paced environment.

    • Strong project management skills including organization skills and time management.

    • Ability and passion to build relationships and work with employees at all levels of the organization.

    • Strength in listening to clients, understanding business concerns and taking action to solve problems.
