    Job Description

    WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

    As a member of the RFID Technical Team, this role is responsible for working with our global product teams to bring innovative new products & ideas to life at significant scale

    Responsibilities

    • Lead and enable the qualification of new products and processes for RFID and Intelligent Label technology
    • Regularly collaborate with the Global Research & Development (R&D) and Product Line Management (PLM) teams to understand customer and product requirements
    • Work jointly with cross-functional teams, locally & abroad, in the US, EU, and Asia to engineer process solutions to enable the manufacture innovative products at scale
    • Arrange, execute, and observe while leading the engineering trials. This will require comfort with occasionally operating the equipment
    • Conduct product testing and data analysis. Work with local New Product Development (NPD) team to ensure new products meet requirements for release
    • Provide timely and accurately detailed test reports and analysis
    • Actively participate in product review and discussion of test results and other data
    • Identify key process parameters & best practices; clearly document SOPs to ensure clean roll-outs to other manufacturing facilities and long-term manufacturing consistency
    • Act as technical support for period immediately following roll-outs; occasional travel for on-site support will be required.
    • Work with the Global Quality team to create PFMEAs and Quality Control Plans for new processes and equipment

    WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BRING TO THE TEAM:

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s Degree required; Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related considered

    Requirements

    • 3-5 Years mechanical or process engineering experience required
    • Experience with system hardware/software setup and integration required
    • Experience creating 2D & 3D drawings in AutoCAD & Solidworks (or related)
    • Experience with six sigma and lean manufacturing
    • Working knowledge of printing, converting, coating, and/or CNC technologies preferred
    • Experience in RFID or semiconductor manufacturing preferred
    • Experience with PLC programming preferred
    • Proven leadership skills – able to influence and motivate others
    • High Energy, passion for excellence, bias for action
    • Excellent technical skills
    • Excellent project management skills
    • Excellent time management skills
    • Attention to details, ability to consistently follow detailed procedures and provide accurate and complete reports
    • Effective oral and written communication skills; ability to effectively present complex topics in a concise manner
    • Effective interpersonal skills dealing with people at various levels and in a variety of functions
    • Solid understanding of business issues, metrics, and customer value.
    • Fluent in English
    • Global travel will be required, up to 40%
