    Job Description

    You’ll be a key member of the apparel marketing team, helping us to drive brand awareness, cultivate partnerships and plan multi-channel campaigns in key white space areas. 

    We’re looking for someone with a passion and knowledge of team sports and storytelling, particularly soccer and basketball. This person should be commercially driven with expertise in strategic planning and end-to-end execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns with a focus on increasing brand awareness and sales

    Responsibilities:

    • Map short-term, near-term and long-term goals for capitalizing on white space opportunities 
    • Work closely with commercial teams to develop robust strategies to meet these objectives
    • Manage campaigns from concept to delivery and ultimately measuring and refining plans based on outcomes 
    • Strategically plan global and local campaigns, including creating content plans, overseeing content creation and mapping distribution strategies 
    • Develop PR plans, in conjunction with existing partners, to amplify messages in target markets
    • Manage budget for specific growth markets and analyze return to optimize results. 
    • Liaise with global teams for flawless campaign set-up and execution 
    • Define go-to-market strategy for new product launches, including naming, messaging, and creative assets 
    • Help identify white space opportunities using consumer research
    • Create content strategy for e-commerce platform, and oversee execution 
    • Oversee media buying and planning to optimize commercial results 
    • Identify influencers in the market and cultivate relationships to maximize category exposure 
    • Leverage consumer insights to improve customer journey and satisfaction
    • Work with creative and product teams to develop tool kits for sales enablement 
    • Collaborate across departments, managing and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders

     

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years in a marketing role; preferably in the B2B space 
    • A passion for team sports 
    • Strategically-minded and results driven 
    • A broad-reaching global marketing communications experience in an apparel or team sports environment
    • Proven track record of ‘thinking outside the box’
    • Multi-tasker capable of managing numerous large projects simultaneously
    • Strong initiative to lead on projects where appropriate
    • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications and organizational skills
    • Collaborative attitude with proven experience managing large projects
    • Excellent writing, editing, and presentation abilities
    • Strong ability to write and edit engaging copy/editorial in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
    • Understanding of digital marketing landscape and best practices, with an emphasis on social media, email communications, and the web
    • Ability to navigate, collaborate, and support various functions across the business from the C-suite to employees on the shop floor
    • Experience working effectively across diverse cultures and operating structures; proven ability to excel in a global environment
    • Hands on, solutions-oriented attitude with a strong commitment to strive for organizational success
    • A strong sense of integrity and ethics
    • Ability and willingness to travel globally  
    • A good sense of humor
