Job Description

This position is responsible for making parts with manual milling and lathe equipment.  Responsibilities will include set-ups and QC of all parts produced.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Receive orders / blue prints to make parts
• Take orders to saw to cut material for orders
• Take material to manual machine and run parts
• QC - Inspect parts (may include blueprint reading, visual inspections, basic measuring with calipers and tape measures)
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent 
• 0 to 3 years’ experience in machining parts or Machine Tool Technology Degree
• Basic use of calipers and tape measure
• Experience of manual equipment and saw cutting
• Experience working in manufacturing environment
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Strong attention to detail
