JOB DESCRIPTION Position is for a senior intelligence analyst working directly with the customer in the office of security. Work includes crafting well-written finished intelligence assessments for senior level decision makers and working-level counterparts on security risks and mitigations. Candidate must have experience writing clear, concise, well-reasoned assessments, conducting research of intelligence and open-source reporting within several databases, clearly briefing analytic findings and actively engaging in a product review process. The candidate will analyze physical, technical, personnel, protective, and cyber security and counter-intelligence risks, preparing written and sometimes oral analytical assessments that include recommendations to enhance security at customer’s domestic and international facilities. Candidate must be flexible with regard to hours at times – customer mission sometimes dictates extended hours.REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS Must possess a Full-Scope Polygraph; candidate will not be considered without it Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skill; Candidate will provide a writing sample Excellent Critical Thinking Skills At least 10 years’ experience in producing written intelligence reporting Willingness to accept and learn from reviewing comments/edits from the customer to improve product quality Experience working in both a team environment and individually, including providing support to other analysts, coordinating products with other stakeholders, participating in team meetings, and managing a large workload Knowledge of, or willingness, to be trained in ICD 503, ICD 705 and ISC building standards Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Ability to attend offsite meetings Ability to travel – approximately 5-10%PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS An understanding of physical and technical security issues, such as counter-terrorism and counter-intelligence threats as well as vulnerabilities in a high-threat environment, is a strong plus, but not mandatory.ABOUT BAE SYSTEMS INTELLIGENCE & SECURITY BAE Systems, Inc. is the U.S. subsidiary of BAE Systems plc, an international defense, aerospace and security company which delivers a full range of products and services for air, land and naval forces, as well as advanced electronics, security, information technology solutions and customer support services.
