Baldwin Vision Systems is seeking Software Development Interns based in Sussex, WI for the summer of 2018. Interns are assigned to a specific cross-functional development teams ranging in size from 4-15 developers/engineers and given real programming assignments. This is very challenging and rewarding work that offers practical experience to the chosen candidate. The software engineer intern may perform the following tasks with supervision and direction from the senior software lead: * Design, coding, unit testing and debugging in object-oriented development environments (VB.NET, C, C#, C++, VB 6.0, ASP, and T-SQL) and MS SQL Server 2005/2008 * Software and Hardware System Integration Tasks * Software Tool Development written in C#, Matlab, VisualBasic * Actively contributing in a team setting to build, enhance, and support custom-developed software benefiting a wide array of manufacturing and administrative operations. Qualifications * Qualified candidates must be, or intend pursuing this year, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a software related field. * Must have completed some introduction modules in object oriented programming. * This position requires strong problem-solving and object-oriented development skills, a winning attitude, and a passion for software development. .
