Apply online IT Intern Your tasks and responsibilities The primary responsibilities of this role, IT Intern, are to: * Organize workshops; * Document end-user interviews, requirements, process and system maps; * Directly work with end-users in wet-labs, bioinformatics and genomics; * Help to grow business by innovative contributions to existing and future strategic initiatives. More specifically related to this position, Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following: Required Qualifications: * Currently enrolled in sophomore year or higher pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, STEM(Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) or Life Sciences fields; * Microsoft office and Visio; * Data analysis in R, Python, SAS or similar; * Highly organized; * Interested in technologies related to information engineering e.g: Apache Kafka and Lucene; * Masters and enables systems and processes; * Ability to identify opportunities that benefit the customer; * High degree of self-initiative; * Fluent in English.
