Summary: 

As a member of the CDC Warehouse, you will be responsible for specified duties related to the Receiving Department. The person in this position is exposed to all elements that exist in a warehouse environment where the noise level is usually moderate.

Physical Requirements: 

The person in this position will frequently lift and/or move up to 100lbs using manual and PIT Equipment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Manage the receiving and DTS staff and workflow of the receiving department.
• Ensure all associates follow safety policies and procedures.
• Schedule and assign work to employees, providing necessary materials, equipment and documents.
• Maintain quality assurance on receiving put away process and automation replenishment.
• Conduct daily research of shortages with purchasing issues and daily logging of material that is not received or still in process.
• Oversee the processing and returning of Annual Stock Returns to vendors.
• Assist in scheduling inbound appointments with various trucking companies as needed.
• Receive material into the Eclipse System.
• Process and document freight claim with inbound carriers.
• Maintain and create various excel spreadsheets as needed.
• Work closely with the Purchasing and Accounts Payable departments.
• Assist Mod Shop with receiving function as needed.
• Assist in the coordination of our New Service Capabilities (Blue Wire Reels, Carts, Cages etc.)
• Conduct daily safety briefing meeting.
• Perform other duties as required or directed.

Required Skills

• Strong Eclipse knowledge
• Excellent communication skills and leadership abilities.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and Word.
• PIT Certified

Required Experience

2 to 5 years warehouse experience with proven leadership skills

• Ability to organize, multitask and pay attention to detail.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and warehouse equipment.
• Strong Eclipse knowledge
• Excellent communication skills and leadership abilities.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and Word.
• PIT Certified
• Must be reliable and flexible
