The Internal Audit Department and team are very dynamic and in high demand. This team collaborates across the entire organization and provides guidance and support to our business partners. The Department delivers independent, objective assurance and advisory/consulting services designed to add value and improve operations and financial position. This role has the opportunity to create long-term, sustainable changes that will move the organization forward in supporting the Company’s goals. Internal auditors will gain an in-depth, up-close understanding of the operations, processes, policies and procedures of Graphic Packaging International. Partnering with management, they will provide invaluable operational knowledge and industry insights.
SUMMARY:
The Manager IT Audit and Data Analytics will deliver independent, objective assurance and advisory/consulting services designed to add value and improve GPK’s operations and financial position. This includes assuring GPK is positioned to achieve its strategic objectives and promoting sustainable, efficient and effective financial reporting and business controls and processes.
The Manager will serve a key role in the Internal Audit Department leading and collaborating with IT Management and the third party internal and external audit teams. This position will be responsible for addressing all department needs specific to the planning, organizing, staffing, directing and controlling of data analytics operation and IT audits. This includes managing the data analytical and fraud detection needs of the Internal Audit Department.
This role is key to accomplishing the transition to our long-term vision for internal audit and will reduce third party spend while increasing knowledge and skills within the organization.
Responsibilities include collaborating with all levels of management and third party internal and external audit teams to improve utilization of data analysis and business knowledge to impact the bottom line of Graphic Packaging while reducing the complexity, cost, and risks to the organization.
JOB DUTIES:
BACKGROUND:
8 years of relevant experience (IT, IT audit, Cyber Security, accounting, risk, regulatory, Sarbanes-Oxley, auditing, financial reporting, COSO, and/or compliance)
No less than 3 years of internal audit or external experience required
Three or more years of data analysis experience
More than 2 year’s experience working with data analytics tools and SAP or other ERP systems from a transactional or technical perspective
General Technical skills preferred using: S4 Hana, SAP, TM1, automated work papers, ACL or other datamining tool, QlikView, Excel, Access, Visio, PowerPoint, Word and SharePoint
Proven record of coordinating with multiple departments and remote locations to achieve business objectives
Proven record of effective management, including planning and decision-making, identifying priorities and bringing projects to successful completion in a timely manner; and maintaining a focus on high standards and quality.
Demonstrated ability to implement creative solutions. Takes initiative and is self-directed.
Demonstrated ability to take accountability and takes initiative and is self-directed
Strong analytical, critical thinking and organizational skills – works well with data to draw business conclusions
