BestCo is currently searching for a Bottling Operator to be located at our Mooresville, North Carolina facility. POSITION SUMMARY: The bottle line operator is responsible for running and overseeing the operation of the bottle filling/packaging in the bottling department. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: * Set up and operate the Cremer tablet counter, Quadrel labeling system, Sato printer, bottle unscrambler, the Kaps-All Capper and Re-Torquerer, the Automate induction sealer, and the Poly Pack in accordance with product specifications; trouble shoot during operation * Read and follow the batch record * Record in process checks as necessary

    • Responsible for ensuring maximum output of the bottle line, quality of finished product, control waste * Responsible for housekeeping of entire area * Ensure correct materials are being used for the product produced by utilizing the batch record * Report mechanical or any problems to maintenance and/or supervisor * Follow BestCos LOTO Policy and procedures to ensure that machines or equipment are isolated from all potentially hazardous energy before performing cleaning, service or maintenance activities where they may be an unexpected energization, start-up, or release of stored energy * Follow cGMP guidelines for cleaning and completing paperwork * Perform other duties as required by the supervisor to ensure best operation possible KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS: * Ambitious, self-starter comfortable working under pressure in a fast paced environment * Ability to work independently * Must possess above average math skills * Must be an effective communicator at all levels of the organization possessing excellent verbal and written communication skills * cGMP knowledge * Detail oriented * Must be able to follow policies and safety procedures * Must be able/available to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends and potentially holidays as needed * Individual must be hygiene/safety oriented REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * High School Diploma or GED * At least 1-year Machine operator experience or Certified Production Technician through NCMI * Must be able to lift and/or move up to 60 lbs. * Must be open to work any shift that is necessary depending on the business needs * Able to stand for long periods of time * Basic computer knowledge (must be able to log on and complete required cGMP SOP training and email * Basic mathematical skills to be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide and make fine adjustments in equipment settings * Effective and clear written /oral communication skills fluent in English to clearly communicate with other team members * Willing and able to clean and sanitize machines * Constantly working in a high temperature environment PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: * More than 1-year Machine operator experience * Certified Production Technician through NCMI * Pharmaceutical industry * Prior Manufacturing experience * FDA experience All offers of employment are conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation, drug screen, and employment eligibility verification (E-verify).
