About This Role
The Manager, Patient and Payer Data and Analytics is responsible for the enablement of data, reporting, and analytics to support the Market Access and Reimbursement (MA&R) organization across all commercial therapeutic areas. This includes partnering with IT to load MA&R data, developing and maintaining analytic-ready datasets (ARDs), building and maintaining reporting, maintaining the payer spine, and running ad hoc analytics. This role would also manage and maintain Biogen MA&R access to external data and reporting resources.

Qualifications
BA/BS required
3-5 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry and/or strategic consulting discipline
Knowledge of SQL and BI tools
Technical proficiency in Tableau or PowerBI or other data visualization tools
Experience with Pharmaceutical data, including claims data (e.g. NCPDP, IQVIA LAAD)
Familiarity with US market access and payer system
Experience working with payer spine
Knowledge of ETL processes, databases, warehouses, and related software skills
Strong analytical skills
Ability to proactively deliver moderately complex analytical investigations and cross-functional projects with limited guidance
Comfort with ambiguity and ability to absorb and logically structure information into analytical deliverable outputs
Demonstrated Strong Communication Skills – both efficient and succinct in verbal and written communications/deliverables
Attention to detail, yet proven ability to maintain an “80/20” mindset
Personal drive and passion to know/understand the business
