KEY LEARNING OBJECTIVES FOR THE STUDENT:

This involves details around cultural change, business practices and governance, and daily operational tools.  By working across all departments and global sites the student will learn strong project management skills, LEAN methodology, manufacturing operations, and ROI calculation and prioritization for CI efforts.  Student will be required to lead instructional sessions and work with people in both one on one and group sessions, remote and face to face.

OUTCOMES AND VALUE TO THE ORGANIZATION

Deliverables from this project focus on a step change in organizational capabilities to identify, prioritize, execute and measure the impact of a formal continuous improvement program.  The student will work as part of a global team focusing on bringing best practices of CI to fruition. These outcomes need to meet the operational needs of the RTP manufacturing site while maintaining global standardization and alignment as much as possible.  These efforts must result in cultural shift towards CI, changes to daily operations, and quantitative practices to track and evaluate the CI program as well as individual CI efforts.
