ABOUT THIS ROLE  

Our group is seeking an efficient and motivated experimentalist with a Master’s in Synthetic Organic Chemistry to join the team. In this role you will be a key contributor to small molecule discovery projects and use your independent problem-solving skills in a collaborative environment. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO  

• Drive programs with your laboratory contributions, synthesizing new analogs for small molecule drug discovery programs
• Work in a collaborative chemistry team, learning and applying the concepts of property-based drug design for neuroscience

WHO YOU ARE

The successful candidate will be skilled in efficient multi-step synthesis, purification and characterization of organic compounds and with a strong commitment to experimental work. Independent reaction troubleshooting and optimization skills are an important aspect of this role.

Qualifications

REQUIRED SKILLS  

• Masters in organic chemistry with research experience or BS with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Medicinal Chemistry.
• Experience HPLC, NMR, MS instrumentation
• Proficient with SciFinder, Chemdraw and other chemistry-related software
• A team player who works effectively within a multidisciplinary organization
