Job Description
The Talent Acquisition team is critical to the continued success of Biogen and our future growth plans. The Associate Director of Talent Attraction will help lead our Talent Attraction partners and leaders in their efforts to identify and convert top talent in the labor market as well as develop repeatable pipelines of talent in critical skillset or new growth areas for Biogen. Reporting to the Head of Talent Attraction, they will be influential to our organization by leading critical projects and coaching team members in their search efforts. WHAT YOU’LL DO:
· Develop and lead a high functioning sourcing team with a focus on continuous improvement and achieving results
· Assess sourcing practices, make recommendations for improvement, gain leadership buy-in, and implement solutions to ensure consistency across the greater Talent Attraction team
· Partner with Talent Acquisition leads in R&D/Medical, Commercial, and ECP to ensure alignment of resources best meet the needs of the business
· Develop collaborative relationships with relevant partners in TA, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, and other members of HR and the broader organization. Execute DE&I strategy by ensuring Sourcing goals align to overarching strategy.
· Act as an advocate for the Talent Attraction team, raising team challenges to appropriate members of leadership to drive solutions
· Coach and mentor team members through challenges and successes, escalating to the Talent Attraction Leader when necessary
· Drive consistency in process with direct reports and across the TA organization on a global scale; work collaboratively with RPO and other sourcing support sources to ensure consistency is achieved
· Develop a global sourcing support model, leveraging the RPO and internal resources to achieve the talent goals of the organization. This model includes alignment to ECP business goals and collaboration with ECP Talent Acquisition, continuous process improvement, and
· Develop and leverage innovative market and competitive intelligence reports for our Human Resources and business stakeholders. Establish infrastructure so findings can be stored and leveraged for high level discussions regarding workforce planning, global expansion,
· Ensure Sourcing team leverages candidate interactions in unique ways, i.e. gathering and documenting competitive intelligence
· Seek and utilize analysis of market trends and provide reports and metrics on talent pipelines and sourcing activities
· Partner with Recruitment Marketing to build campaigns in targeted areas of the business; participate in employer and recruitment branding efforts and social media use
Lead GDE&I initiatives with the GDE&I team to include ERN engagement, partnering with external organizations, and leveraging diversity reporting to guide team strategy
Implement continuous improvement practices and culture with outcomes
Qualifications
WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
· 8+ years’ experience working in Talent Acquisition in agency, executive search, or corporate environments
· Leadership experience as demonstrated through direct management or leading cross-functional projects with specific results
· Experience conducting research to guide decision making
· Ability to develop and track recruiting metrics
· Strong relationship building skills
· Ability to adapt to and learn new technologies and ways of working
· Bachelor's Degree Required
