    Job Description

    _This application is for a 12-week internship role from June - August 2022. Resume review begins in January 2022. _

    As an intern, you will work on a real-world data generation project on the Global Medical Alzheimer’s Disease product team within the Global Medical Neurology function. They will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of a digital observational study as well as other digital initiatives involving evidence generation. 

    POSITION DESCRIPTION 

    The role and responsibilities will be tailored to experience. Detailed description of the role including but not limited to: 

    • As a member of the study team, contribute to the operationalization of the digital study and troubleshoot with the appropriate teams or the digital vendor if needed. 
    • Cross-functional interactions with Biogen Digital Health, R&D, and Medical Research Operations.  
    • Update study status to senior leadership when needed. 
    • Update Investigator website with study updates and related content.

      

    Example projects may include: 

    • Support a sub-study aimed to assess longitudinal cognitive digital biomarkers as part of the wider real-world data generation efforts for Biogen’s Alzheimer’s disease product.  
    • Manage real-world evidence-related content on the study website as a resource for primary investigators and study administration.

      

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Experience with cognitive evaluation or Alzheimer’s disease or clinical trials is a plus 
    • Experience with website content management or other digital initiatives is a plus 
    • The candidate should possess strong interpersonal and project management skills 
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and presentation skills

     

    To participate in the Biogen Internship Program, students must meet the following eligibility criteria: 

    • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. 
    • At least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date 
    • Be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university

     

    EDUCATION 

    Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD level
