    Job Description

    • Builds relationships with and acts as a key resource and escalation point for internal customers, distributors, and suppliers.
    • Translates strategic objectives into plans for team execution. 
    • Develop manufacturing/inventory plan based on demand. 
    • Tracks and reports progress to manufacturing plan.  Routinely identify and communicate any supply risks to management. 
    • Recommend/implement corrective actions to maintain inventory targets and minimize supply risks. 
    • Manage/support activities for new product launches/clinical studies and supply chain projects. 
    • Manage/support cross-functional projects such as cross-functional process/system integration.
    • Exerts influence on the overall objectives of planning and the programs. 
    • Provides input to not just specific planning decisions, but also broader cross-functional decisions.
    • Participates in and may lead cross-functional program teams within Global Operations to meet all supply chain requirements and other strategic or continuous improvement goals. 
    • Integrated scenario planning, i.e. implications on supply and demand. 
    • Generate multiple supply/ demand scenarios for Finished Good and or Investigational Medicinal Product (final labeled kits).  Implement scenarios using appropriate analytical techniques, reporting capability/turning data into information
    • Use knowledge of tools to increase productivity, manage complexity, and improve forecast quality. 
    • Serve as the single point of contact for the protocol (KPI, reporting, enrollment, country list updates, etc.)
    • Close interaction with Clinical Asset Planner on program Supply Plans
    • Management of Import License as applicable for clinical programs
    • Participation in audits when necessarY
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 5-7 years of supply chain planning/management experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech area.
    • We require a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or Science-based Discipline, MBA is preferred. 
    • Highly detail oriented and ability to interpret complex information via excellent written, presentation/oral communication, and customer service skills.
    • Effective collaboration across multiple stakeholders in developing and implementing effective supply chain management strategies. 
    • Ability to develop forecasts and supply plans for IMPs incorporating expiry management and accounting for complex regulatory requirements.
    • Ability to leverage tools and systems to manage demand and inventory.
    • Ability to work independently on routine and new assignments and under minimal supervision for complex and ambiguous assignments.
    • Preferred: APICS certification and clinical supplies planning and forecasting experience.

    Additional Information

    Oversee and manage supply chain activities for International and/or US markets.  Manages the efficient flow of goods, services, and information throughout the clinical supply chain, including product order management and global distribution.
