    Job Description The Vendor Management Organization (VMO) Analyst is a core member of the Vendor Management team within the Global Procurement Organization. The VMO has responsibilities including purchase requisition creation, contracting and invoice reconciliation. This position will be responsible for the following activities as assigned by the VMO Manager/Sr. Supervisor. • Coordinate and oversees Biogen’s contract creation and renewal process in partnership with business stakeholders, procurement and legal in accordance to legal and procurement policies • Ensure all contract requests are initiated and executed agreements are uploaded in Biogen’s Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system • Create and submit purchase requisitions in ERP and ensure it aligns with the contract payment terms/schedule • Maintain good vendor management documentation and records to support audit requests • Work closely with finance, business stakeholders and vendors to reconcile purchase orders, contracts and invoice discrepancies • Support vendor management team on other activities related to processes, templates and continuous improvement • Educate the business and suppliers on new supplier creation/onboarding processes • Assist the vendor management team with coordination of periodic vendor business reviews • Assist with ad-hoc projects as assigned by vendor management leadership • Establish strong partnership and collaborations with legal, finance, procurement, business stakeholders and suppliers • Acting as liaison to escalation of issues identified by the vendor management team, procurement, business stakeholders finance and external suppliers

    Qualifications

    • 2 to 3 years of experience in procurement/vendor management • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Strong proficiency with MS office skills including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint • Ability to work independently, plan, prioritize workload and result oriented • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with team members and perform in a fast-paced environment • Experience with purchasing and PO management utilizing ERP • Experience with Supplier Management and Accounts Payable • Experience executing or managing contracts using a CLM system • Experience in the Pharma/Biotech industry a plus

    EDUCATION:  Bachelor's Degree preferred
