    Job Description

    As a strategic HR Business Partner, this role will be accountable to design the organizational talent strategy and solutions in support of the Global Regulatory Sciences & Safety organization and multiple Development Units across Research and Development. As a trusted advisor, s/he will be responsible for providing advice, coaching, counsel and problem solving to the organization and acts as a focal point to provide human resources solutions. The role will support approximately 400-500 employees globally with multiple functions geographically dispersed in the US, UK, Japan, and major markets around the world. .

    In this role, s/he will be responsible for the development and execution of HR strategies and activities that drive organizational growth, team effectiveness, and team engagement. The HRBP will be responsible for building and maintaining effective working relationships across the organizations they support as well as within Human Resources.  

    Key areas of accountability include:

    •  Provide leadership and guidance to the senior leadership teams and drive business results through the creation of organization and talent solutions to support key business objectives. Act as an influential advisor and credible partner by identifying and driving change.

    • Lead the design and delivery of organizational/talent development and management solutions (i.e., organizational and workforce planning, employee engagement and retention approaches, etc.) in support of the business.

    • Design and deliver team effective and performance coaching solutions to maximize business growth and employee engagement.

    • Drive the development of a strong pipeline of talent to support the evolving workforce needs in the business through robust people planning processes and prioritization of leadership/management development programs.  

    • Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence to provide input into shaping HR programs that are anchored in achieving business needs. Build strong and trusting partnerships across HR and act as steward of a One-HR mindset.

    • Support the annual business cycle and roll out of annual process (AOP, LRP, Goal Setting, On-going Performance and Career Discussions, etc.).

    • Be a proponent of manager-employee self-service ensuring operational HR support is managed by HR Services.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    · A minimum of 10 or more years of experience in Human Resources and competency in strategic HR

    · Credible human resources business person who will be acknowledged as a trusted partner and functional expert skilled in Organizational Design and Talent Management

    ·Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-moving, agile organization

    · Ability to communication with impact, work effectively in a highly matrixed environment  and influence without authority

    · Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, HR management, or a related field.
