LOCATION: 10331 NW Transcon Drive, Kansas City, MO 64153 RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Assemble log splitters using hand tools, power tools and gauges Perform quality checks according to documentation Operate computer systems to input data Train others as needed EDUCATION: High school diploma or nationally recognized regionally accredited equivalent required. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED: Minimum of six months experience within a manufacturing environment Demonstrated competency in use of hand and power tools Demonstrated experience working with detailed schematics and other written instructions Must be able to work effectively and communicate with others in a team environment Demonstrated competency in operating a narrow-reach forklift and overhead hoist English fluency for safety, training and documentation purposes Stable work history with good employment references Able to repetitively lift 50 to 75 pounds Excellent attendance record AVAILABILITY: Available to work on site as required Day Shift: 8-Hour Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. 10-Hour Shift: Monday - Friday 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Additional overtime may be necessary to support business needs, reasonable notice will be provided ABOUT BLOUNT INTERNATIONAL, INC: Blount is a global manufacturer and marketer of replacement parts, equipment, and accessories for consumers and professionals operating primarily in two market segments: Forestry, Lawn, and Garden (FLAG); and Farm, Ranch, and Agriculture (FRAG).
