What We Are Looking For Were looking for a Vendor Compliance Administrator to join our purchasing team in Linden, NJ. The primary function of the role will be to track and monitor vendor compliance with supply chain initiatives, including but not limited to: transparency in sourcing, genetic engineering certification, allergen tracking, and the gathering of ingredient and nutrition information. The ideal candidate is flexible and open to unfamiliar assignments and has superb problem solving and critical thinking skills. They also have an enthusiasm for working in a dynamic team environment with a strong, fun startup culture. About The Role Support the Regional Procurement team ensure vendor compliance with regulatory, legal, quality, manufacturing/agricultural and food safety requirements. Liaise with suppliers to complete required documentations and evaluate paperwork for completeness. Ensure suppliers are providing accurate, representative data on products that will be shipped Follow up with vendors to ensure timely collection of data Enter all data in proper systems and communicate to required parties Follow up with all stakeholders to ensure proper communication and processing of vendor information Participate in other activities related to evaluating vendor performance and adherence to Blue Apron standards and requirements Compile a scorecard of vendor performance based on their adherence to Blue Apron standards and specs Partner with department leads to create and define new processes and SOPs Use Excel, TraceGains, and other office tools to manage flow of information Assist in other administrative support functions to enable the purchasing and sourcing team to be as efficient as possible. Requirements Bachelors degree with at least 1-2 years of experience in a CPG company Communication skills; excellent verbal and written communication abilities Excellent organization skills and attention to detail, your life is a series of [completed] to do lists Self-starter who can power through ambiguity and problem solve in a fast paced setting filled with hard deadlines.
